Today’s Gas & Diesel Price Updates

Gasoline eased by 0.57 cents/gallon at the average rack in Selma. Diesel fuel moved down by 1.32 cents/gallon. WTI (West Texas Intermediate) crude slipped by 68 cents/barrel or $45.21/barrel or $1.0764/gallon (seven cents more and crude is below $1.00/gallon. There are 42 gallons in a barrel so when crude is below $42, it is less than $1.00/gallon. simple. Prices are:

It gives me great pleasure to pass on some good news to my customers. Unlike our competition, we pass on price decreases immediately, not drifting down with the street.

Gasoline dropped by 8.10 cents/gallon at the average rack in Selma. Diesel fuel dropped gy 4.73 cents/gallon. Diesel fuel is 3 cents cheaper than unleaded at the average rack.  Crude took a significant drop of $1.70/barrel to $45.42. Prices are:

Today’s Gas & Diesel Price Updates

The major oils are cutting jobs and investment. Chevron is cutting 1500 jobs and $1 billion, too. ConnocoPhillips is cutting jobs and $1 billion investment. Shell is cutting 6500 jobs & $7billion. What that means, the oil industry is not expecting a rebound for years, maybe 2018 and beyond. Gasoline is up by 1.08 cents/gallon at the averzge rack in Selma. Diesel fuel moved up by 1.13 cents/gallon. Crude is down by 37 cents to $48.50/barrel.. Prices are:

Gasoline bumped up by 4.54 cents/gallon at the average rack in Selma. Diesel fuel is hardly changed up 0.04 cents/gallon. Crude moved up by $1.33/barrel to $48.87. It is the end of the month and strage thing happen when traders are settled their bets. Prices are:

Today’s Gas & Diesel Price Updates

More good news for us as consumers and commercial users of gasoline and diesel fuel. Prices are down again. This is when you save money with Hopkins Oil. My accountant thinks I  am leaving too much money on the table when dropping immediately, not drifting down with the street. I am still betting this immediate dropping of prices will build up a loyalty to Hopkins Oil for when prices are going up. Crude has blown through the $50 base now down another $1.07/barrel to $47.07. If crude drops another $7 to $40, we might be seeing pump gasoline pump prices  below$2.00/gallon. Wouldn’t that be something! Gasoline is down 2.82 cents/gallon. Diesel fuel dropped another 3.71/gallon. Prices are:
